Math Can Take You Places


Create as many different problems as you'd like. K-1st Grade Prizes -Grand Prize- Four Tickets to Six Flags Over Texas -Runner Up-Brand New Bicycle with Helmet and Pads 2nd-6th Grade Prizes: -Grand Prize- Apple iPod nano and iTunes gift card -Runner Up-Four Tickets to Six Flags Over Texas (Grand Prize and Runner Up winners selected for each grade level.) TEACHERS (K-3, 4-6) Teachers, show us your most fun real-world original math activities. Grand Prize is $500; Runner Up is $350.

Contest runs September 3 through November 3.

Each class that submits 20 or more student entries will be listed on our Web site and entered into a drawing for a pizza party.

KERA will announce the winners of the 2008 Do the Math contest on Friday, November 21. A reception for the winners will be held at KERA in January 2009.
